Jessica Pham – 2012

I thank you very, very much for all of your support! I will most definitely be at the annual Meet & Greet on May 20; let me know if you would like any help! Is the picnic the same day? Please keep me updated.

This is my final year as an undergraduate from UCLA, and it could not possibly be better. I am finishing my chemistry major and currently working to satisfy all of the pre-requisites for pharmacy school, which I hope to attend Fall 2018. I will be officially done with my undergraduate career by the end of this Summer 2016, and between then and (hopefully) the start of graduate/pharmacy school, I hope to obtain some work experience in the pharmaceutical field  as a pharmacy technician in retail or as a laboratory technician in the biotechnological industry.

I have also just finished my last term as a member of Circle K International, the community service organization I have been a part of since I entered UCLA. Since I was involved in Key Club (its high school division) the four years prior to entering college, I do hope to extend my involvement into Kiwanis (post-graduate division) within the next couple of years.

On more fun notes, I began rock climbing this year and have subsequently joined a small, informal group of climbers. Oh, and I've taught myself how to make a mean Cajun chicken pasta!

I do look forward to seeing you all soon!

Mi Choi - 2015

First, I want to say thank you for the scholarship which helped me a lot with buying my book supplies. I really appreciate your effort to stay in touch with us so that we can continue to receive our scholarship.

I have successfully finished the fall quarter with an overall GPA of 3.6 and it seems like I'll be busier next quarter because the classes I'm taking are much more difficult and time-consuming.

The scholarship really helped me to devote my time on my studies without having to worry about the supply fees and my family and I really appreciate the support. For the next quarter, I'll work harder to bring more good news.

We are pleased to announce that Czarina Obieta (WHS 2011), (California Polytechnic University Pomona) and Kevin Ngo (WHS 2011), (University of California San Diego) graduated from their universities in June 2015.  Justin Botejue (WHS 2012), (Whitworth University Spokane, WA and Jessica Pham (WHS 2012) (University of California Los Angeles) graduated in May and June of 2016. It has been a pleasure to follow their adventures and help them achieve their goals.
